Applebee's Grill + Bar

Applebee's is a fantastic dining spot that never disappoints! The diverse menu offers something for everyone, from delicious appetizers to mouthwatering entrees. Every visit, the service has been impeccable - friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is inviting, perfect for casual outings or family dinners. Plus, their dedication to quality ingredients and consistently tasty dishes keeps me coming back for more. A definite go-to for a satisfying meal!

My friends and I have come here a few times and its always okay. Sometimes we wait an hour to sit sometimes we sit immediately. Sometimes the service has been very attentive snd agreeable, other times its been quick and curt. Food is alright but the specials make up for it because they allow for an adequate amount of food at a good price. Would not recommend any mixed drinks they are very light and expensive, stick to the beers.

“This is the best Applebees!” Said by NO ONE EVER. This place follows some backwards logic. This place will be at 40% capacity and they’ll tell you it’s gonna an hour wait for a group of FOUR. Then when they realize you’re resilient and won’t be scared off they’ll seat you in 5 minutes. They just seem to never want any business. They somehow also charge for a SIDE OF SAUCE. The only thing that could have made this dining experience worse is if they started charging for the air we breathe in this joint. If you're looking for quality food and service, you're better off going somewhere else. I’ve decided to write a poem inspired by my experiences here at Manalapan Applebee’s. “In search of good food, we roamed And stumbled upon a place called Applebee's, But alas, it left us feeling alone In a sea of mediocrity and fees. Oh, Applebee's, what can I say? Your logic is twisted in every way. At 40% full, you make us wait an hour, Only to seat us in five, your power. And let's not forget your love for the fee, For a side of sauce, a cost that we see. What's next? Charging for air we breathe? For quality food and service, we must leave. Your ambiance, well, it's lacking, you see, Dimly lit, with plastic plants, not meant to be. So, Applebee's, we must decline, For quality and service, we'll seek, we'll find. Farewell to you, and your backwards ways, Our money and taste buds, better spent on TGI Friday’s.” The servers are great tho ngl.

I just went there with my family. We waited 50 minutes for a table. The host came and apoligized that they were really busy. We understood they were busy. After the long wait, we were seated. For at least 15 minutes we saw waiters walking by us and did not took our order or at least the drinks. Poor service, poor management. If you are short staffed, then close the door or do not take more clients. This is disrespectful!

Now I remember why I visit once every 2 weeks. The chips were so loaded with salt my lips were burning. When I asked our waitress she said we were her second table tonight to complain about the salt. My lime chicken was swimming in some sauce that tasted like a drink of straight lime with double extra lime. Asked for water and it never came until 10 minutes later when the manager "tossed" my replacement cheese burger at me, also overloaded with salt. we asked her for water so she turned around and yelled at our waitress standing 5 feet behind her to get us water. Not the dinner experience we were looking for!
